Schools

Schools in the museum

We are a recognised extracurricular place of learning. The museum, sponsored by the federal government and the state of Lower Saxony, has a lot to offer in the fields of history, art, culture and natural history with numerous school-relevant topics. School classes were considered during the conception of the exhibition presentation right from the very beginning.

As a teacher, you will gain the best insight during a preparatory visit to our permanent exhibition. Please identify yourself as a teacher at the museum box office, then your visit will be free of charge for you.

A school class visit without a guided tour booking during normal museum opening hours is free of charge for the entire group. Please note that a maximum of two accompanying supervisors have free admission.
